MEDICAL/SUPERCONDUCTOR
Medical/Superconductor

Low temperature monofilament superconducting wire is an integral component in today's MRI machines. To make this wire you need high grade C10100 RRR forged copper that is free from porosity or cracks and that has a good exterior surface. How is this accomplished? Raw Material Certifications, Test and Process Documentation are a good start in assuring that you get what you need.

In addition to these, Weldaloy follows a precise "Check and Confirm" system documented in our 15-Point Order Review process. By setting these process control measures in place, Weldaloy is able to deliver defect-free products to our cusomters 99.8% of the time.

In addition to C71580 Copper Nickel, we forge a variety of parts from C10100 oxygen free copper, as well as many other copper and aluminum alloys. For a complete list, click here.
